Project Engineer - Landscape/ Swimming Pool Experience CIVIL/MEP

Role Overview

Project Planning and Coordination

• Support the Project Manager from mobilization through final handover.
• Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Coordinate daily activities with engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Report potential delays, technical issues, and resource requirements to the Project Manager.

Civil and MEP Works

• Supervise civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and external works.
• Coordinate MEP activities with civil, structural, architectural, and landscaping works.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review site conditions, provide technical solutions, and inspect the quality and progress of ongoing works.

Submissions and Approvals

• Follow up on material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, IRs, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.
• Ensure site teams work from the latest approved drawing revisions.
• Coordinate with procurement on material requirements, availability, and delivery schedules.

Site Management and Reporting

• Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with schedules and quality requirements.
• Check incoming materials against approved specifications and samples.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain quality and safety requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain project records.

Testing and Handover

• Coordinate testing and commissioning of relevant civil and MEP systems.
• Manage snagging, inspections, rectification, and close-out activities.
• Coordinate as-built drawings, testing records, O&M documentation, and handover documents.
• Support the Project Manager during final inspection and project handover.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Three to five years of UAE experience in a Project Engineer role.
• Strong hands-on experience in both civil and MEP works.
• Ability to read civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Understanding of construction practices, QA/QC, HSE, site coordination, and project execution.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, irrigation, swimming pools, water features, or external works is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage.
• UAE construction experience and a UAE driving license are preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Employment and Compensation

• The position is full-time.
• Pay is listed from AED 1.00 per month.

• Work location is in person in Dubai.
