Land Surveyor

Role Overview

Surveying and Setting Out

• Conduct land, topographic, and construction surveys covering boundaries, elevations, contours, levels, and existing site conditions.
• Carry out setting-out works for landscaping, hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and external works.
• Establish and verify benchmarks, coordinates, levels, and control points.
• Identify and report site conditions that may affect design or construction.

Survey Data and Documentation

• Prepare and interpret survey drawings, maps, sketches, and technical reports.
• Record, verify, and maintain accurate survey measurements and calculations.
• Prepare survey data and documentation required for project execution and authority submissions.
• Maintain updated and organized survey records.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate with Landscape Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, and site teams.
• Provide accurate setting-out information and technical support during project execution.
• Verify completed works against approved drawings, levels, and specifications.
• Attend site and coordination meetings when required.

Equipment and Field Operations

• Operate Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level, and other surveying equipment.
• Ensure surveying instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Carry out field measurements accurately and efficiently.

Project Support and Compliance

• Ensure surveying activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants, authorities, and other project stakeholders when required.
• Support project teams with survey information, progress monitoring, and technical coordination.

Requirements

• Proven UAE experience in landscaping surveying is mandatory.
• Experience in landscaping, external works, or construction surveying is required.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Hands-on experience with Total Station, GPS/GNSS, and Auto Level is required.
• Strong knowledge of levels, coordinates, benchmarks, setting-out procedures, and construction drawings is required.
• Excellent accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills are required.
• A valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.

Employment and Pay

• The job is full-time.
• Pay is from AED 1.00 per month.

Work Location

• Work location is in person in Dubai.
