Opportunity overview
The Project Director – Hydropower and Dams role leads growth, client partnerships, and delivery for major infrastructure projects across Western Canada.
The role is ideally based in Calgary or Vancouver or another Western office.
The position combines project leadership, business development, strategic growth, and infrastructure delivery.
Project leadership and governance
- Act as Project Director on major hydropower and dam infrastructure projects.
- Provide overall leadership and governance for major projects and programs.
- Establish project vision, objectives, execution strategies, and success criteria.
- Coordinate engineering, environmental, procurement, construction, and stakeholder teams.
- Lead project steering committees and executive review meetings.
Clients and commercial leadership
- Serve as the senior point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
- Build project-level client relationships and develop long-term partnerships.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and strategic growth.
- Manage high-level commercial and contractual discussions.
