Role Overview
Join WSP’s Remediation Program Management team as a Project Controller based in Edmonton or Calgary.
Support contaminated site program management projects involving health and safety, environmental assessments, risk assessment, and remediation.

The Opportunity
Join WSP’s Remediation Program Management team as a Project Controller based in Edmonton or Calgary.
Support contaminated site program management projects involving health and safety, environmental assessments, risk assessment, and remediation.
Work with Project Managers, Project Accountants, and project teams to keep projects on track, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Project Controls Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
- Monitor cost, schedule, and performance against approved baselines.
- Perform variance analysis and identify discrepancies between planned and actual performance.
- Support project setup, planning, estimating, and resource forecasting.
- Prepare performance reports, dashboards, status updates, and KPI tracking.
- Coordinate project reviews and support governance processes.
- Monitor risks, issues, and changes and escalate when required.
- Review work-in-progress, accounts receivable, invoicing status, and project financial health.
- Collaborate with project leaders to update forecasts and implement corrective actions.
- Support budget re-baselining, change management, and project closeout.
- Follow organizational project controls procedures and financial controls.
