Role Overview
Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Project Control Manager to join its team in the UAE.
The role manages project schedules, budgets, resources, performance, risks, and control measures to support timely project completion.
Project Control Responsibilities
- Establish project control plans, procedures, and project execution plans.
- Develop the project control team, L2 to L4 schedules, and control templates.
- Develop engineering, procurement, and construction registers.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams on project affairs.
- Develop KPI templates and guide regular team updates.
- Lead project risk reviews and mitigation planning.
- Prepare delay analysis, time impact analysis, and extension-of-time submissions.
- Identify critical paths and activities and escalate issues for timely action.
Coordination and Reporting
- Act as the single point of coordination with the client for project control affairs.
- Prepare presentations for management meetings and participate in internal, client, and vendor progress meetings.
- Ensure client reports are submitted on time.
- Monitor subcontractor mobilization and performance against planned progress.
- Monitor project progress, efficiency, and consumption of mobilized resources.
Knowledge and Skills
- Good working experience with Primavera P6.
- Experience leading project controls for large-scale solar projects is required.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
Education and Experience
- Any engineering degree.
- At least 12 years of experience, including 2 to 4 years in renewable or power-generation projects as a project controls and planning manager.
