Production Planner

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Create, manage, monitor, and close Job Orders across assembly and testing activities.
• Track material and labor consumption against Job Orders and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain the production schedule and proactively flag potential delays or schedule slippage.
• Coordinate with Material Planning to align material availability with the Job Order schedule.
• Monitor Job Order progress and ensure timely closure.
• Support end-to-end Job Order lifecycle tracking.
• Coordinate with Assembly, Integration, Testing, Material Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
• Support the move from manual tracking to a structured and digitized planning process.
• Maintain accurate and current production planning data.
• Identify planning issues and coordinate their timely resolution.
• Contribute to schedule adherence and improved planning efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, production engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of experience in production planning or a similar scheduling or planning role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on ERP or MES experience for work order execution, tracking, and closure.
• Experience with production scheduling and end-to-end Job Order management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing planning processes and production workflows.
