Job Purpose

  • The Product Line Manager is responsible for managing and growing a defined product line throughout his lifecycle. The role focuses on defining product strategy, roadmap, and positioning to meet market needs and business objectives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the product line vision, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Align product direction with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept, launch, growth, to retirement.
  • Ensure timely product updates, enhancements, and end of life planning.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Identify opportunities for new products or product improvements.
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Ensure clear communication of product requirements and priorities.
  • Support pricing strategies, packaging, and commercial positioning.
  • Monitor product profitability and revenue performance.
  • Support product launches and go to market activities.
  • Provide product training and support to sales and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience managing product lines or portfolios in a technology driven environment.
  • Exposure to end to end product lifecycle management.
  • Experience working in cross functional and matrix organizations.
  • Familiarity with market analysis, competitive positioning, and pricing models.
  • Experience supporting product launches and go to market activities.
  • Experience preparing business cases, roadmaps, and product performance reports.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and commercial teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data driven decision making and analytical abilities.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
