Responsibilities
- Promote products and services to customers, discover and pursue new sales prospects
- Conduct market research to identify new potential customers and analyze market trends
- Perform product demonstrations to potential customers and gather feedback
- Negotiate contracts and packages with customers
- Maintain relationships with existing customers by providing support and guidance
- Coordinate with Marketing Department for new materials
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Conduct training sessions to customers and assist with equipment usage
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related
- 2+ years experience in molecular diagnostic solution, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), & Genomics field
- Knowledge related to Molecular Biology: PCR Workflow, Electrophoresis & Blotting, NGS Workflow & Techniques, NGS QC Workflow, DNA/RNA Extraction and Sanger Sequencing Workflow
- Good communication skills & English language – presentation skills
- Client Relationship Building Skills
- Valid UAE driving license preferred

Job Brief
- The incumbent will be responsible to promote products and services to customers, discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate contracts, and maintain customer satisfaction with the aim of maximizing profits.
Accountabilities
- Adhere to all Zahrawi Policies & Procedures as applicable.
- Conducting market research to identify new potential customers.
- Analyzing market trends to identify new products in the market and understanding their advantages and disadvantages.
- Planning and assisting with new product releases and events.
- Maintaining technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state of the art practices, and participating in professional societies.
- Establishing contact with new customers to inform them of our products, understanding their need and how we can help them.
- Providing potential customers with support, information, and guidance by performing product demonstrations to them and gathering their feedback.
- Following up with the new customers after the demo session to negotiate contracts and packages.
- Ensuring all details of the contract are compliant with our rules & regulations.
- Following up with the Procurement & Logistics team with regards to sending them the products and ensuring that it reaches them on time.
- Coordinating with the Marketing Department for any new materials that need to be done.
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers by providing them with support, information, and guidance.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related
- Experience: 2+ years experience in molecular diagnostic solution, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), & Genomics field.
- Job Specific Skills: Knowledge related to Molecular Biology: PCR Workflow, Electrophoresis & Blotting, NGS Workflow & Techniques, NGS QC Workflow, DNA/ RNA Extraction and Sanger Sequencing Workflow.
