About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Procurement Specialist for maternity coverage to manage end-to-end sourcing of packaging materials in an FMCG environment. You will handle RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract execution while ensuring supply continuity and cost optimization.

- Manage RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract execution
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of packaging materials while minimizing prepayments
- Monitor procurement KPIs and ensure adherence to internal SOPs
- Actively manage supplier relationships and resolve delivery, quality, or documentation issues
- Support packaging innovation, NPD timelines, and sustainability initiatives
- Collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams
Requirements
- 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG, trading, or retail
- Strong hands on experience with packaging materials sourcing
- Proficiency in SAP MM, Excel, and procurement analytics
- Solid understanding of packaging material markets, cost drivers, and indexes
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and import/export documentation
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight timelines

Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Procurement Specialist – Packaging Materials to join our team on a maternity cover basis.
- This role is critical to ensuring continuity across packaging sourcing activities and supporting ongoing operations within an FMCG environment.
- You will manage the end to end Source to Pay (S2P) process, focusing on packaging materials such as bottles, pouches, films, corrugates, and closures.
Key Responsibilities
