Role overview
Support sourcing, purchasing, supplier coordination, and procurement activities.
Ensure products, materials, and services are sourced competitively, purchased efficiently, and aligned with business requirements, quality standards, and procurement policies.
The role requires a commercially minded, proactive, systematic, and detail-oriented approach.
Procurement operations
- Manage procurement requests, source suppliers, evaluate quotations, compare commercial terms, and support supplier selection and negotiations.
- Prepare purchase orders and monitor confirmations, lead times, product availability, delivery schedules, and outstanding activities.
- Coordinate requirements with purchasing, finance, warehouse, inventory, logistics, operations, product, and other departments.
Supplier and spend management
- Maintain supplier information and documentation and support supplier performance reviews.
- Monitor procurement spend, check invoices, resolve order discrepancies, and manage procurement records.
- Research suppliers and markets to identify sourcing opportunities, alternatives, cost savings, and supply risks.
