Role Description
The Logistics Operations Assistant supports daily logistics activities and the smooth movement of goods across the supply chain.
The role assists with shipment coordination, delivery scheduling, inventory movement, transportation documentation, and operational follow-up.
Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate shipments, pickups, deliveries, and transportation schedules while checking quantities, destinations, delivery requirements, and documentation.
- Prepare and update shipping documents, delivery records, packing lists, labels, and other logistics information.
- Coordinate requirements with warehouses, suppliers, carriers, transportation providers, and internal teams.
- Monitor shipment and delivery status, track inbound and outbound goods, follow up on delays, and communicate status updates.
- Update logistics systems and assist with delivery discrepancies, damaged or missing goods, returns, failed deliveries, and inventory differences.
- Support logistics reporting, record keeping, operational analysis, standardized procedures, and workflow improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Operations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations, transportation, warehousing, inventory, shipment, and delivery processes.
