About the Role
A Procurement (SCM) Consultant is needed for a functional-first role supporting MEEZA's hybrid ERP landscape, focusing on Oracle E-Business Suite for Procure-to-Pay. The consultant will provide functional ownership, operational support, enhancements, and stakeholder coordination across Procurement/SCM processes.

Responsibilities
- Act as primary functional owner for incidents and service requests related to Purchasing (PO) and iSupplier Portal
- Triage, diagnose, and resolve functional issues; coordinate with technical/DBA teams
- Maintain and troubleshoot Inventory (INV) item configurations
- Monitor recurring ticket trends and proactively recommend root cause fixes or process improvements
- Gather requirements, design functional solutions, and configure system changes for enhancements
- Prepare functional specifications for technical builds, CEMLIs, and reports
- Lead or support testing cycles (unit, SIT, UAT) for patches, enhancements, and updates
- Manage change requests through full lifecycle
- Own and maintain procurement related setups: approval hierarchies, document types, sourcing rules, etc.
- Ensure clean integration between Purchasing/iSupplier and Financials
- Partner with Financials functional team to troubleshoot cross module issues
- Maintain up to date functional documentation, configuration baselines, process flows, and support runbooks
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands on functional experience with Oracle E Business Suite, focused on Procurement/SCM (Purchasing, iSupplier, Inventory)
- Proven experience managing the full P2P cycle functionality
- Solid working knowledge of Inventory module setups
- Demonstrated experience with EBS enhancements/change requests
- Strong understanding of how Procurement integrates with Oracle Financials
- Experience supporting or participating in EBS patching, quarterly updates, or upgrade projects
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience mentoring or leading junior consultants/support analysts

Job Purpose
- The Procurement (SCM) Consultant is a functional first role supporting MEEZA's hybrid ERP landscape.
- Procure to Pay (P2P) is managed on Oracle E Business Suite (EBS), primarily through Purchasing (PO) and iSupplier modules, integrated with Oracle Financials.
- Order to Cash (O2C) is managed on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- This role provides functional ownership, operational support, enhancements, change requests, configuration, documentation, and stakeholder coordination across Procurement/SCM processes.
Key Result Areas
- Application Support: Act as primary functional owner for incidents and service requests related to Purchasing and iSupplier Portal.
- Enhancements & Change Requests: Gather requirements, design functional solutions, and configure system changes.
- Setups & Cross Module Integration: Own procurement related setups and ensure clean integration with Financials.
- Governance, Documentation & Mentoring: Maintain documentation and mentor junior staff.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands on functional experience with Oracle E Business Suite, focused on Procurement/SCM.
- Proven experience managing the full P2P cycle functionality.
- Solid working knowledge of Inventory module setups.
- Demonstrated experience with EBS enhancements/change requests.
- Strong understanding of how Procurement integrates with Oracle Financials.
- Experience supporting or participating in EBS patching, quarterly updates, or upgrade projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior consultants/support analysts.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and ad hoc reporting.
- Familiarity with Oracle Workflow Builder and/or AME configuration.
- Exposure to Order Management (OM) module.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Exposure to EBS reporting tools such as Discoverer, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, OTBI.
- Prior experience working in a fixed term/contract consulting capacity.

Pay
- Pay: QAR12,000.00 QAR17,000.00 per month
