Responsibilities
- Execute the RFP and Contract Administration process as per Procurement Department Policy and Procedures
- Create strategic solutions for specific categories through procurement planning, RFP management, bid analysis and recommendations
- Let contracts and/or agreements in liaison with Legal Department
- Responsible for commercial evaluation of tender submissions and participate in bidder selection process
- Create and manage bid calendar, lead category events, bid process, commercial evaluation, recommendations, and contract document preparation
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing and payment schedules with suppliers under supervision of Contract Manager
- Monitor and track savings to meet assigned targets
- Manage relationships with approved supply chain and specialist contractors, conduct regular performance reviews
- Support end users in disputes due to non performance by contracted suppliers
- Conduct quarterly benchmarking exercises to identify new suppliers and maintain market awareness
- Mitigate project risk/cost through implementation of contract variations, clarifications, and exceptions
- Review requests for deviations from contract specifications and/or delivery schedules
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management
- Familiar with RFP processes and contract drafting
- Qualified CIPS or working towards CIPS preferred

Job Overview
