Responsibilities
- Manage all procurement activities related to vessel operations and technical departments
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers globally
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Ensure timely procurement of spare parts, stores, lubricants, technical equipment, and services
- Monitor procurement budgets and identify cost saving opportunities
- Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews
- Manage tendering and contract negotiation processes
- Work closely with Technical, Operations, Finance, and Vessel Management teams
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry standards
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of maritime/shipping industry experience
- Minimum 5 years of shore based procurement experience supporting Dry Bulk vessel operations
- Previous experience within a Ship Management company
- Strong understanding of marine procurement processes and supplier networks
- Proven contract negotiation and vendor management experience
- Strong analytical, commercial, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Fluent English

About the Role
- We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities supporting a fleet of Dry Bulk vessels.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing purchasing operations, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives while ensuring uninterrupted support to vessel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all procurement activities related to vessel operations and technical departments.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and service providers globally.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure timely procurement of spare parts, stores, lubricants, technical equipment, and services.
