- Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities
- Oversee vessel accounting and voyage related financial transactions
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Prepare management reports and financial performance analyses
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
- Develop and strengthen internal controls and governance processes
- Support commercial and operational teams with financial insights and analysis
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of finance and accounting experience within the maritime/shipping industry
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, ACA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Previous experience within a shipping company, ship management company, or vessel owning organization is required
- Strong knowledge of vessel accounting and shipping finance
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management
- Strong analytical and business partnering skills
- Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
- Fluent English

About the Role
