Role Overview

Procurement and Sourcing

• Manage procurement requirements, budgets, purchasing plans, trackers, specifications, RFQs, RFPs, tenders, quotations, comparisons, negotiations, suppliers, and purchase orders.
• Source products that meet approved budgets, brand standards, operational requirements, technical specifications, quality requirements, and opening timelines.
• Monitor supplier production, quality, lead times, logistics, customs, warehousing, shipment schedules, and delivery arrangements.
• Coordinate samples, mock-ups, product evaluations, supplier or factory visits, receiving, inspection, inventory verification, and departmental distribution.

Project Delivery and Handover

• Monitor committed and actual expenditure, support payment processing and reconciliation, and identify cost optimisation and value engineering opportunities.
• Manage delays, supply risks, shortages, damaged items, replacements, snagging, and outstanding supplier obligations before hotel opening.
• Complete procurement handover with documentation, warranties, supplier contacts, inventories, and outstanding matters.
• Support multiple pre-opening projects and provide progress updates, risk assessments, and action plans to Corporate leadership.
• Contribute to procurement standards, preferred supplier networks, specifications, and pre-opening process improvements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least 5–7 years of relevant procurement experience is required.
• Hospitality, hotel, resort, large-scale development, hotel pre-opening, and OS&E experience are preferred or highly preferred.
• Experience managing procurement from budgeting and tendering through delivery and operational handover is required.
• Strong knowledge of hotel OS&E categories and procurement processes is required.

Capabilities and Systems

• Strong commercial, negotiation, numerical, analytical, project management, organisational, supplier relationship management, and problem-solving capabilities are required.
• Ability to manage several priorities, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and work in a deadline-driven environment is required.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is required; procurement or ERP systems experience is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
• Ability and willingness to travel to project locations, suppliers, factories, and hotel sites is required.
