Role Overview

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, supply chain management, procurement, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of procurement experience, preferably in oil and gas, EPC, construction, or industrial projects.
• Strong experience in plant, machinery, and heavy equipment rental procurement.
• Saudi Arabia experience and knowledge of the local equipment rental market are requested; the source describes this as both mandatory and preferred.
• Strong network with heavy equipment rental companies and suppliers in Saudi Arabia.
• Knowledge of rental rates, equipment specifications, market availability, procurement procedures, RFQs, comparative statements, purchase orders, and rental agreements.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, commercial, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage urgent project requirements.
• ERP or SAP procurement systems knowledge is advantageous.
