Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
  • MMUP/UPDA certification is preferred.
  • 12–20 years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • GCC experience is preferred.

Project Planning and Execution

  • Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of EPC construction projects from mobilization through final handover.
  • Develop project execution strategies, construction methodologies, work schedules, and resource plans.
  • Ensure activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, contractual requirements, and company procedures.
  • Monitor progress against baseline schedules and implement corrective actions for delays or deviations.
  • Ensure milestones are completed on time while maintaining safety, quality, and budget objectives.

Construction and Site Management

  • Manage civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, HVAC, and utility construction activities.
  • Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and site supervisors.
  • Allocate manpower, equipment, and materials and resolve technical and operational issues.

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary contact for clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct progress review meetings and present updates to clients and senior management.
  • Address client concerns, technical queries, and contractual issues and coordinate with internal departments.

Commercial and Resource Management

  • Monitor budgets, cost forecasts, financial performance, variations, change orders, claims, and contractual correspondence.
  • Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, subcontractors, procurement, plant, logistics, HR, and engineering resources.
  • Monitor workforce productivity and manage mobilization and demobilization.

HSE and Quality

  • Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, client safety standards, and statutory regulations.
  • Implement PTW, JSA, risk assessment, audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with quality plans, ITPs, project specifications, material approvals, testing, and documentation.
  • Monitor non-conformance reports, punch list clearance, and mechanical completion before handover.

Risk and Team Leadership

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to safety, schedule, quality, cost, and resources.
  • Monitor performance indicators and escalate critical issues with recommendations.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage multidisciplinary teams and assign responsibilities.
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify development needs, and promote teamwork and accountability.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports for management and clients.
  • Maintain schedules, cost reports, resource plans, technical documentation, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain complete project records throughout the lifecycle for audits and closeout.
