Job Summary
Experienced E & I Engineer responsible for managing and supervising electrical and instrumentation activities for oil and gas projects in Saudi Arabia.
The role requires strong experience in E & I installation, testing, commissioning, and site execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and coordinate electrical and instrumentation works at site.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and material requirements.
- Supervise electrical equipment, cable, cable tray, lighting, earthing, and related system installation.
- Oversee instrumentation installation, including instruments, tubing, impulse lines, junction boxes, and control systems.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, planning, procurement, other disciplines, subcontractors, and manpower.
- Ensure work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, client standards, safety, quality, and HSE requirements.
- Monitor progress, conduct inspections and testing, and support pre-commissioning and commissioning.
- Prepare inspection requests, checklists, progress reports, and other project documentation.
- Troubleshoot E & I installation and commissioning issues and participate in toolbox meetings and safety inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
