Job summary
The Procurement Coordinator supports end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier coordination, RFQs, purchase order processing, delivery tracking, record maintenance, and procedure compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate procurement requests with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and issue RFQs to approved suppliers.
- Obtain and compare quotations and commercial offers.
- Create and process purchase orders in ERP systems.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Maintain procurement trackers, records, and vendor databases.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams.
- Resolve delivery, invoice, and supplier-related issues.
- Support vendor evaluation and prequalification activities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Prepare procurement reports and status updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5–7 or more years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain coordination.
