Role Overview

Project Management Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, execution, control, and completion of multiple projects.
• Develop project plans, scopes, deliverables, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Manage project budgets, cash flow, and Estimate to Complete forecasts.
• Plan manpower and resource requirements and coordinate recruitment or resource allocation.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, deliverables, and critical paths.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and delays and implement mitigation and recovery actions.
• Lead project close-out activities and lessons-learned reviews.
• Prepare project progress reports, proposals, presentations, and management documentation.

Stakeholder and Team Leadership

• Establish project success criteria and communicate expectations to project teams.
• Resolve project issues, conflicts, and execution challenges with project teams and management.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Lead, motivate, coach, and mentor Project Managers and project teams.
• Act as the focal point for client and key stakeholder relationships.

Commercial and Compliance Duties

• Prepare and manage time-extension and cost-overrun claims with the Commercial Department.
• Support claim negotiations and implement agreed technical and commercial claim strategies.
• Resolve and document client, subcontractor, and vendor issues.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, Quality, Compliance, IT, and HR policies, UAE laws, and Abu Dhabi EHS requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of direct project management experience covering project development and execution.
• Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, change management, and multiple project or program management.
• Strong experience in maintenance and modification projects.
• ADNOC experience is required or preferred according to the source wording.
• Construction project experience is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of planning and scheduling, cost control, budget management, resource planning, quality management, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.

Leadership and Communication

• Strong leadership, motivation, and team-building capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict-management skills.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop Project Managers and team members.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
