Role Overview
Bilfinger Middle East is seeking an experienced CAD Technician (Utilities) for UAE utility and infrastructure projects.
The role requires hands-on experience with ADM requirements and other relevant UAE authority standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Drafting, or a related field is required.
- A valid UAE Equivalency Certificate for the degree or diploma is mandatory.
- At least five years of relevant CAD or infrastructure experience is required.
- UAE infrastructure project experience, including roads, dry utilities, wet utilities, master developments, and utility networks, is required.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory, while Civil 3D experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE authority requirements, design standards, and submission procedures, particularly ADM requirements, is required.
- Candidates must be able to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update 2D CAD drawings for infrastructure, utilities, roads, and master development projects.
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications, design requirements, and UAE authority standards.
- Incorporate revisions, maintain drawing accuracy, and coordinate drawings across engineering disciplines.
