Responsibilities
- Carry out body panel repairs, replacements, structural repairs, and dent rectification in line with repair orders and workshop standards
- Use alignment and measuring systems to restore damaged vehicles to manufacturer specifications
- Operate body repair tools and equipment safely and effectively, including welding and sanding equipment
- Maintain high workmanship standards to ensure durability, safety, and first time right repairs
- Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures while keeping tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
- Protect customer vehicles during the repair process and contribute to a high standard of customer satisfaction
- Complete assigned jobs within the expected time standards to support workshop productivity and efficiency
Requirements
- High School education with a technical certification in engineering or car body construction and repair
- 3–4 years of experience as a denter/body technician, including at least 2 years working on monocoque bodies
- Strong knowledge of body repair methods, structural alignment, panel replacement, and dent correction
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, repair instructions, and workshop manuals in English
- Good understanding of safe working practices, quality standards, and proper use of body shop tools and equipment
