About the Role

Lead technical execution for an embedded innovation squad developing intelligent systems and reusable AI solutions.

Own delivery from discovery through production while serving as the senior source of expertise on AI architecture, integration, and delivery.

Work directly with internal stakeholders and end users to solve workflow problems and create customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, assess, harden, and deliver AI prototypes and proofs of concept.
  • Design reusable agentic AI patterns for orchestration, tool use, memory, and retrieval.
  • Ensure solutions meet architecture, security, compliance, data-governance, and infrastructure standards.
  • Create reusable patterns, reference implementations, and starter kits for scaling across functions.
  • Write specifications, fix complex bugs, and design complex data models.
  • Establish baselines and measure productivity, cost, and quality outcomes from pilot through scale.
  • Mentor engineers and evaluate emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on enterprise AI design, build, or integration.
  • A track record of moving AI prototypes into enterprise production.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience with LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, context management, guardrails, MCP, tool-augmented agents, and RAG.
  • Experience with enterprise APIs, data pipelines, security, governance, and data residency.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, managed AI/ML services, Agile, CI/CD, SDLC, and TDD.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, SQL, and relevant AI SDKs.

Ways of Working

  • Frame ambiguous problems, extract defined specifications, and prioritize validated outcomes over perfect solutions.
  • Plan and sequence work, manage scope and dependencies, remove blockers, and drive delivery.
  • Present concisely to senior stakeholders and build support for technical decisions.
  • Partner with internal and external resources and remain budget-aware.

Benefits

  • Benefits include a pension plan, vacation, sabbatical options, family-care leave, study assistance, employee discounts, and an employee assistance program.
  • The organization promotes flexible working hours, wellbeing initiatives, collaboration, and professional growth.
