The client is seeking a Principal Marine Projects Engineer for coastal and marine engineering work.
The role requires 10–12 years of experience and focuses on coastal protection structures, beach design, monitoring, and project management.
Key Requirements
- 10–12 years of relevant experience in coastal or marine engineering.
- Proven experience designing breakwaters, groynes, and revetments.
- Strong experience in beach design and coastal engineering projects.
- Good understanding of coastal processes and their application to engineering design.
- Experience in coastal monitoring and analysis of monitoring data.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Coastal Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
- Design coastal protection structures such as breakwaters, groynes, and revetments.
- Deliver beach design and coastal engineering project work.
- Apply coastal process knowledge to engineering designs.
- Conduct or oversee coastal monitoring and analyze monitoring data.
- Manage and coordinate coastal and marine engineering projects.
