Job Purpose
Lead procurement transformation, governance, compliance, process excellence, and data-driven decision-making across a complex international telecommunications environment.
Improve sourcing compliance, strengthen controls, optimize procurement performance, and reduce organizational risk.
Work with global procurement leaders, category teams, risk functions, and business stakeholders on procurement best practices and supplier risk controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement governance, sourcing compliance, and procurement assurance across multiple business units.
- Develop procurement policies, governance frameworks, operating procedures, control libraries, and compliance mechanisms.
- Drive process optimization through data analytics, automation, and operational excellence methods.
- Implement predictive compliance monitoring, risk detection models, automated controls, and governance reporting.
- Oversee RFx governance, supplier evaluation, award recommendations, and procurement decision-making.
- Manage supplier due diligence, supplier risk, contract compliance, and supplier performance governance.
- Partner with category management, sourcing, legal, risk, compliance, and business stakeholders.
- Conduct compliance assessments, governance reviews, and post-award audits.
- Support enterprise-wide risk mitigation programs and maintain effective procurement controls.
- Monitor supplier quality, sourcing compliance, and control effectiveness, implementing corrective actions.
- Provide procurement governance, compliance, process excellence, and analytics expertise to teams and stakeholders.
- Promote procurement technologies, governance tools, and digital solutions.
Essential Experience
- 13+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, strategic sourcing, governance, risk, or operational excellence environments.
- 7+ years of experience in procurement governance, compliance management, and process controls.
- Proven data analytics experience supporting process improvement, compliance monitoring, and business performance.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, or similar procurement platforms.
- Knowledge of supplier risk management, sourcing governance, procurement policy, and control frameworks.
- Experience implementing best practices for continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Python, R, data science, spend analytics, or advanced reporting tools is highly desirable.
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- CSCP, MCIPS, Six Sigma, Scrum Master, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
