Generic Accountability
- Owns & Manages Business initiative, product roadmap and end to end delivery.
- Ensure all projects are executed and delivered as expected in the said timelines and budget.
- Guide strategically and managing teams/resources across the service line
- Represent Technology in Business discussion and vendor engagements etc.
Specific Accountability
- Expert knowledge of Commercial Banking (functional and technical)
- Solid experience and background in development, design, cloud and technology overall.
- Hire, Empower, support, guide, coach the service line teams to work effectively.
- Track and ensure organization and technology KPIs are met.
- Capex/ OpenX budget management experience.
- Hands on and familiar with various technology services such as Cloud Azure, AWS, microservices, CICD, Authorization and Authentication, IDP, ..etc
- Digital Transformation knowledge and automating and digitizing the process and solutions.
- Extensive experience in enabling business to achieve goals through deep analysis
- Proven ability to act as advocate and advisor to enable data-based decision making
- Prioritizes Service team’s (Priorities) and goals to help meet charter and vision set by senior management. Delegates effectively. Setting the right KPIs and OKRs
- Acts as a Servant leader and Creates autonomous Team
- Oversees on Demand Management and Release Milestones
- Provides Service strategy input, shapes and maintains the service catalogue
- Ability to make localized decisions; beginning to work independently.
- Monitors and steers interdependencies of service teams. Managing and coordinating cross-services deliveries
- Defines vision and value proposition along with Business
- Leads and drives Agile and DevOps ways of working
- Shaping the right Agile Culture, Mindset and Maturity
- Liaising extensively with external vendors, internal business stakeholders and different team within information technology.
- Providing advisory role to business for different enhancements on processes, products and systems.
- Come up with different proposals and solution to resolve business problems and new enablement’s.
- Vendor evaluation & evaluation of SOW’s.
- Guide testers on the requirements and business objectives
- Work with business users, IT business and technical support teams and vendors, monitor and report on the progress of required tasks and maintain an emphasis on the early identification and, rectification of problems
- Coordinate activities among different business and technical groups.
- Carry out assignments, alone or as part of a team, applying knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the issues and problems raised and proposes viable solutions within the acceptable scope.
- Strong knowledge of Software Engineering Methodologies like SDLC e.g. Waterfall, Iterative (Agile/Scrum)
- Proven development of innovative and impactful systems solutions
- Ability to lead and coach the assigned projects
- Domain experience (Banking/ Finance)
- Have the ability to work with senior leadership
- Experience in Vendor/partner management
- Resolve any challenges on projects to enable the teams to deliver on time
- Good understanding to the technical application security, compliance and audit requirements
- Experience in supporting the product owner in backlog refinement to a level which is acceptable for the team to estimate and deliver
- Ability to plan 2 steps ahead of the team and surface hidden risks
- Ability to work with business stakeholders to ensure requirements are delivered and to ensure customer satisfaction
- Participates in discussions and activities regarding IT project funding, resourcing and prioritization while advocating for the business as it relates to programs and projects
- Manages one or more business programs and projects
- Responsible for aligning programs, projects to strategic objectives and goals of respective service line working closely with Product owner, service owner and portfolio lead
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Minimum Qualification
- 15+ years of experience in managing business banking and digital channels domains.
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering or equivalent degree
- Certificed in agile or scrum
- Certified in ITIL or similar Framework
- Expert-level industry or vendors certifications are desired.
- Banking background and experience.
