Role Overview
Eurofins IT Solutions is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
The role supports the electronic quality management system, a web application used to manage quality and compliance processes.
The position reports to an Engineering Manager and works with global customers and coworkers.
Work Arrangement
- The role is hybrid and specifies three days working from the office.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end web applications using Microsoft-stack technologies.
- Integrate browser-based applications with existing services and understand business requirements with global stakeholders.
- Own deliverable quality, code quality, unit-test coverage, technical documentation, and FURPS quality attributes.
- Build, develop, mentor, and coach developers technically.
- Design n-tier architectures, apply design patterns, and create intuitive module and class-level interfaces.
- Evaluate technical solutions and select the appropriate option for each situation.
Technical Skills
- Required technologies include .NET, .NET Core 5/6/7, C#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, and Angular 7 or above.
- The role requires knowledge of Cosmos DB, Elasticsearch, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD.
- The role involves event-driven architecture, domain-driven architecture, microservices, authentication and authorization.
- Required testing experience includes UI testing and unit testing with tools such as MSTest, Jasmine, Moq, NUnit, or Karma.
- Strong object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design-pattern knowledge are required.
Qualifications
- Seven to twelve years of experience is required.
- A master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field is required.
- Agile experience is required, with Scrum preferred.
- Strong English communication, structured writing, analytical reasoning, attention to detail, flexibility, self-motivation, and teamwork are expected.
