Role overview
Lead business development for Eurofins Discovery products and services serving pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
Sell chemistry and pharmacology solutions for drug discovery within an assigned territory or region.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Achieve regional sales targets through portfolio sales and client development.
- Prospect for clients needing drug discovery products or services.
- Build client relationships through collaborative engagement and face-to-face meetings.
- Create and maintain territory and regional business plans.
- Monitor competitor activity and report against defined business metrics.
- Maintain complete and current customer information in the company CRM.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, sales colleagues, marketing, and internal resources.
- Maintain technical and application expertise in chemistry services.
- Support customer satisfaction with timely responses to inquiries.
- Help design and implement territory and regional strategies for the portfolio and brand.
- Use websites, ecommerce, marketplaces, webinars, tradeshows, and customer events effectively.
- Present effectively to clients and internal teams and provide portfolio feedback.
