Develop next-generation applications and Electronic Lab Notebook systems used by scientists, engineers, and technicians across international laboratories.
The role reports to an Engineering Manager and supports Eurofins laboratory operations.
Experience and technical requirements
- Requires 7 to 10 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications with Microsoft technologies.
- Requires strong knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Angular 2 or later, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Requires working knowledge of Cosmos DB, Microsoft SQL Server, TFS, UI testing, and unit testing.
- Requires understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and n-tier architectures.
- Requires knowledge of code review practices, programming best practices, performance troubleshooting, efficient queries, and SQL profiling.
- Requires knowledge of authentication and authorization; OAuth2 and OpenID Connect are noted as additional technologies.
- Requires experience with at least one service-oriented architecture project and Agile practice, preferably Scrum.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve review comments, and close code reviews.
- Troubleshoot performance-related issues and optimize code and queries.
- Work on web applications, authentication and authorization, service-oriented architecture, and software testing.
Personal skills
- Customer-service orientation, problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, and accuracy are important.
- The role values entrepreneurial thinking, flexibility, self-motivation, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and clear communication.
- Very good English communication and structured, clear writing skills are required.
