Role Overview
Eurofins IT Solutions is hiring a Principal Software Engineer in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
The role supports next-generation applications and electronic laboratory notebooks used across international pharmaceutical testing laboratories.
The position reports to an Engineering Manager.
Required Experience and Skills
- The role requires 7 to 10 years of experience developing end-to-end web applications with Microsoft-stack technologies.
- Strong experience is required with .NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and Web API.
- Strong knowledge is required with Angular 2 or later, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Working knowledge is required with Cosmos DB and Microsoft SQL Server or SQL technologies.
- Experience using TFS and familiarity with UI testing and unit testing tools are required.
- The role requires knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and n-tier architectures.
- Candidates should be able to provide technical recommendations, solve technical problems, and conduct code reviews.
- Working knowledge of authentication and authorization is required; OAuth2 and OpenID Connect are additional technologies mentioned.
- Experience with at least one service-oriented architecture project and Agile methodology, preferably Scrum, is required.

- Develop and maintain sophisticated web applications for laboratory research, experiments, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot performance-related issues, write efficient code and queries, and use SQL profiling techniques.
- Apply programming best practices and support performance tuning and optimization with Microsoft technologies.
