Role Overview
Serve as a senior technical resource and advisor for the team.
Provide specialized technical input for bridge and related structural studies and designs.
Responsibilities
- Develop study and design procedures for high-quality, cost-effective work by others.
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.
- Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical effort.
- Complete discipline components of PS&E packages.
- Review design calculations and drawings for quality control.
- Prepare technical specification sections.
- Support engineering budget and schedule development.
Requirements
- Master of Engineering degree or equivalent education in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
- At least 12 years of experience with bridge and related structural design schemes.
- Knowledge of Midas.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Accountability, accuracy, and precision of work.
