About the Role
Petrofac seeks a Security Lead to develop and implement security management plans, conduct threat assessments, and manage security operations for energy projects. Responsibilities
- Develop the Security Management Plan and manage implementation based on Petrofac policies
- Provide recommendations on physical, technical, static and mobile security measures
- Perform threat and vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses
- Guide project security management in completing threat assessments and maintaining risk registers
- Develop and implement security led evacuation planning
- Produce regular monthly security reports for management and Group Security
- Maintain awareness of security environment including socio political, cultural, ethnic, religious aspects
- Oversee travel and journey management requirements and establish SOPs
- Engage with local security apparatus, community leaders and diplomatic missions
- Maintain strong communications with third party security providers
- Maintain relationship with customer security functions
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local and international regulatory requirements including Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Security
- 10 years’ experience in security management
- Strong security management knowledge
- Oil and gas EPC project knowledge
- Excellent communication, coordination and organizational skills
- Ability to lead, inspire and motivate project security personnel
- Ability to work unsupervised, acting under own initiative
- Good security planning and analysis skills
