Charger Logistics is an asset-based carrier handling dedicated, specialized, temperature-controlled, and HAZMAT freight.
The Pricing Analyst will support Pricing and Reporting, Sales, and Operations by providing analytical insight into service pricing strategies.
The role is intended to help maintain and grow all modes of business while ensuring clients receive accurate and current pricing.
Responsibilities
- Receive, analyze, and process RFPs for cross-border, domestic Canadian, and domestic U.S. opportunities.
- Perform costing analysis and develop pricing options for customer negotiations.
- Rate shipments using pricing scenarios and compare net results.
- Evaluate pricing strategies using volume opportunity, profit potential, and service crossover factors.
- Review financial, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity, goal achievement, and effectiveness.
- Support growth opportunity identification and existing business expansion with Business Development and Customer Service.
- Identify target markets and track relevant market trends.
- Improve pricing processes and resolve pricing inquiries and issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an analyst role or pricing function is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Experience performing data extraction using tools is required.
- Ability to understand business processing requirements using technology and develop creative implementation solutions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and sustain high productivity levels.
- A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, or analytics is preferred.
