About Charger Logistics
Charger Logistics is an asset-based carrier handling dedicated loads, specialized hauls, temperature-controlled goods, and HAZMAT cargo.
The company is expanding its team in Brampton.
Available Shifts
- Morning, afternoon, and night shifts are available.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound and outbound freight to meet daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.
- Build relationships with customers, brokers, and carriers while resolving service risks and maintaining communication.
- Analyze lane data, on-time performance, and costs to negotiate profitable rates.
- Resolve discrepancies involving pricing, service levels, delivery schedules, and documentation.
- Obtain rates, negotiate with logistics providers, select 3PL partners, and track or expedite shipments.
- Verify and troubleshoot shipping and customs documents, including PODs, BOLs, and carrier confirmations.
Requirements
- Three or more years of trucking industry and/or dispatch experience is required.
- An educational background in supply chain management, business, or another relevant area is required.
- Dedicated customer service experience in a similar environment is required.
- Transportation industry and North American geography knowledge is an asset.
- A positive attitude and good people skills are required.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and Word and the ability to learn new software quickly are required.
