Role Overview
The Pricing Analyst supports pricing, reporting, sales, and operations by providing analytical insight into pricing strategies.
The role helps maintain and grow business across transportation modes while ensuring customers receive accurate and current pricing.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process RFPs for cross-border, domestic Canadian, and domestic United States opportunities.
- Perform costing analysis, develop pricing options, rate shipments under different scenarios, and compare net results.
- Evaluate pricing strategies using volume opportunity, profit potential, service crossover, and other business factors.
- Review financial, sales, and activity reports to monitor productivity, goal achievement, and effectiveness.
- Support business development and customer service teams with growth opportunities and account expansion.
- Identify target markets, track market trends, improve pricing processes, and resolve pricing inquiries and issues.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an analyst role or pricing function is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience performing data extraction are required.
- Ability to understand business processing requirements and conceptualize creative technology solutions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and sustain high productivity levels.
- A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, mathematics, or analytics is preferred.
