We are currently recruiting for a
Pre-Sales Engineer- Systems Integration
to join our Transguard Protection Services- Systems Integration Team in our Headquarters, located in DAFZA, Dubai Airport Freezone.
Scope
: The Pre-Sales Engineer role at Transguard System Integration is to work closely with the Sales team to deliver competitive proposals.
The role is responsible for our bids to be designed to client specifications with full compliance, at a competitive rate.
The role is expected to be highly skilled and experienced in designing ELV, AV and IT systems and to be well-versed in all the regulatory requirements and standards such as but not limited to SIRA and MCC.
The role is responsible for RFP study, raise RFI’s, design a fully compliant solution, make proposals to fit client's commercial and technical requirements.
Financial
- Provide expert advice, recommendations, and solutions to address client needs and meet clients’ budgets.
- Provide value added designs to clients.
- Create and build strong relationships with Vendors and sub-contractors to avail competitive pricing.
Customer
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their security challenges, objectives, and technical requirements.
- Liaise with sales teams to develop customized security system integration proposals and solutions that align with client requirements.
- Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and standards governing security system installation and integration.
Process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and vendors, to align pre-sales activities with business objectives.
- Address technical inquiries, concerns, and objections raised by clients during the proposal generation phase.
- Coordinate with internal teams to review, validate, and design solutions for clients.
Innovation
- Share insights, best practices, and lessons learned from pre-sales engagements to contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and cost savings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments related to security system integration through regular training on security systems, attending exhibitions, etc.
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering or technical consulting role, preferably in the security industry.
- In-depth understanding of security technologies, access control systems, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and other security-related solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, solution design, and proposal development.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to security systems.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support pre-sales activities and client engagements.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
