Responsibilities
- Review customer RFQs, tender documents, specifications, and drawings
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for LV Switchboards, MCC Panels, Capacitor Banks, Synchronization Panels, and Distribution Boards
- Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and costing sheets
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for pricing and technical clarifications
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations for clients and consultants
- Provide solution design and value engineering recommendations
- Ensure compliance with IEC, DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, and other relevant standards
- Analyze project requirements and prepare accurate cost estimates
- Prepare tender submissions within specified timelines
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Liaise with engineering and procurement teams during bid preparation
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5–8 years of experience in Presales, designing, Estimation, or Proposal Engineering for LV Panels
- Experience with manufacturers such as Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, Eaton, Legrand, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of LV Switchgear, MCC Panels, Power Factor Correction Systems, Busbar Systems, Load Calculations, Single Line Diagrams
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office
- Experience with electrical estimation software is an advantage

Job Overview
- We are seeking a skilled and customer focused Presales Engineer with experience in Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear and Motor Control Centers (MCCs) to support the sales team in providing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and developing competitive bids.
- The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, LV panels, and related standards.
Key Responsibilities – Technical & Presales Support
- Review customer RFQs, tender documents, specifications, and drawings.

- Attend client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions.
- Respond to technical queries from customers, consultants, and contractors.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders to support business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities – Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Design, Procurement, and Project teams.
- Support smooth handover of awarded projects to execution teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and proposal records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–8 years of experience in Presales, designing, Estimation, or Proposal Engineering for LV Panels.
- Experience with manufacturers such as Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, Eaton, Legrand, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of: LV Switchgear, MCC Panels, Power Factor Correction Systems, Busbar Systems, Load Calculations, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Experience with electrical estimation software is an advantage.
