About the Job

  • Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Marketing department, the PR & Communications Manager oversees public relations and communications strategy.
  • Responsible for media and influencer relations, partnerships, events, and activations.
  • Drives storytelling, copywriting, and content development, manages agencies, and ensures brand consistency.

Duties

  • Develop and execute an integrated PR and communications strategy aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and key opinion leaders.
  • Manage media inquiries, press trips, interviews, PR shoots, and brand aligned partnerships.
  • Lead community outreach and CSR initiatives, represent the hotel at industry events.
  • Oversee planning and execution of the hotel's event strategy.
  • Create and manage high quality PR content (press releases, kits, bios, invitations) and announcements.
  • Monitor, analyse, and report PR performance, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Manage PR agencies and corporate communications alignment, lead and develop team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in luxury hospitality PR or within a luxury brand/leading PR agency.
  • Dubai based with strong UAE and regional media networks.
  • Proven expertise in managing media, influencers, and partnerships within the luxury sector.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
  • Confident communicator with strong media knowledge and relationship management capabilities.
  • Creative, proactive, and innovative mindset.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and problem solving skills.
