- Set up and oversee all People & Culture practices, processes and systems
- Provide guidance to Division and Department Heads in all matters pertaining to employment
- Ensure colleagues’ career path and development needs are prioritised
- Oversee total compensation and benefits package competitiveness
- Spearhead measures to ensure positive colleague climate and high morale
- Promote good colleague relations through various programs
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Labour laws
- Implement FLHSS, OHS and sustainability policies
Requirements
- Experience in luxury hotel HR leadership
- Knowledge of Saudi Labour laws

About the job
- Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the P&C Department, the Director of People & Culture is responsible for managing the People & Culture function for the property.
- The DOPC functions as an effective business partner and consultant to management and colleagues, and owns specific local/regional projects to optimize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the property’s People strategy in line with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
- Set up and oversee all People & Culture practices, processes and systems.
- Provide guidance to Division and Department Heads in all matters pertaining to employment.
- Ensure colleagues’ career path and development needs are prioritised.
- Oversee all People & Culture practices, processes and systems.
- Ensure competitive total compensation and benefits package.
- Keep abreast of developments and interpret implications of legislation.
- Spearhead measures for positive colleague climate and high morale.
- Promote good colleague relations through various programs.
- Support and organize social and sports activities.
- Ensure valid employment contracts, working permits and visas.
- Comply with Saudi Labour laws.
Qualifications
- Experience in luxury hotel HR leadership
