Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the property's People strategy in line with the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
  • Set up and oversee all People & Culture practices, processes and systems.
  • Provide guidance to Division and Department Heads in all matters pertaining to the employment function and procedures.
  • Ensure colleagues' career path and development needs are prioritised and documented.
  • Ensure the Hotel's total compensation and benefits package is competitive within the marketplace.
  • Ensure that all jobs are regularly reviewed to provide internal and external equity in terms of compensation.
  • Keep abreast of developments and interpret implications of legislations which may affect the Hotel.
  • Spearhead and implement measures and policies to ensure positive colleague climate, high morale and effective communication.
  • Promote good colleague relations through various programs and maintain proper procedure for counselling and handling grievances.
  • Support and organize social and sports activities for colleagues.
  • Ensure every colleague has a valid employment contract, working permits and visa (where required). Complies with Saudi Labour laws.
  • Overall responsible for implementing FLHSS, OHS and sustainability policies and procedures within the department.
