Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, validate, and deliver simulation models to customers in tenders and projects using various power system tools
- Collaborate with cross functional teams, including R&D and customers, to gather requirements for technical solutions
- Create software in the loop model of real time control functions
- Perform testing and validation of power system models and associated tools
- Perform RMS simulation studies with customer networks
- Prepare clear and structured technical documentation and reports
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in power system modeling
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by supporting, training, and collaborating with colleagues
Requirements
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field
- At least three years of experience in power system analysis
- Knowledge of simulation tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB, EMTP, or Python
- Interest or experience in programming (C++, C#, FROTRAN, DSL, Python, MATLAB)
- Interest or experience in control theory, signal processing, and dynamic modelling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve complex problems
- Proficiency in English

How You’ll Make An Impact

Your Background
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with at least three years of experience in power system analysis.
- Knowledge of, or experience with, simulation tools such as RTDS, PSCAD, PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, MATLAB, EMTP, or Python.
- Interest in or experience with programming (e.g., C++, C#, FROTRAN, DSL, Python, MATLAB), control theory, signal processing, and dynamic modelling.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve complex problems.
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage.
