About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Management & Finance Specialist to support strategic portfolio oversight, financial analysis, and performance management across a diversified portfolio of business units and investment interests.
  • This is a contract based consulting engagement suited to a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical capability and experience in portfolio performance, valuations, strategic planning, and investment evaluation.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to support decision making, capital allocation, and value creation initiatives across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support portfolio performance monitoring across multiple business units, including financial and operational KPI tracking.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and business decision making.
  • Conduct valuation analysis, investment assessments, and commercial feasibility reviews for strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare board quality reporting, management packs, and investment committee materials.
  • Analyse business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend improvement initiatives.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, capital planning, and resource allocation exercises.
  • Assist in evaluating expansion opportunities, restructuring initiatives, and optimisation programmes.
  • Partner with leadership teams to improve governance, reporting quality, and financial visibility across the portfolio.
  • Support ad hoc strategic, financial, and commercial analysis as required.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in portfolio management, corporate finance, FP&A, transaction advisory, strategy, or investment analysis.
  • Strong experience in financial modelling, business valuation, budgeting and forecasting, performance analysis, commercial due diligence / feasibility analysis, board or executive reporting.

Preferred Background

  • Experience within consulting, private equity, asset management, investment firms, corporate strategy, or diversified holding groups.
  • Exposure to multi entity or portfolio level oversight strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders such as C suite, boards, or investment committees.
  • Regional experience within the UAE / GCC is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, ACCA, or MBA preferred.
