Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- No related work experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and 75 pounds with assistance

Position Summary
- Use appropriate rescue techniques if observing swimmers in need of assistance. Observe the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unusual or unsafe activities, and swimmers who are struggling. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
- Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
Required Qualifications
- License or Certification: CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Fitness Equipment
- Any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
Additional Duties
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Maintain professional uniform and appearance.
- Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (run, walk, jog).
- Stand, sit, or walk for an entire work shift.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing ≤50 lbs without assistance and ≤75 lbs with assistance.
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
- Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up/down ladders, stairs, service ramps.
- Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
