Position Summary
The Pool & Beach Attendant maintains pool and recreational areas while promoting a safe, fun, and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
The role is full time, non-management, and not remote.
Guest and Facility Responsibilities
- Wash, mop, and clean the pool deck.
- Observe recreational activities and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Promote facility rules and identify situations where guests cannot safely participate.
- Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Obtain, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
Safety and Operations
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager.
- Complete safety training and certifications.
- Follow company policies, protect company assets, and maintain confidentiality.
- Use computers or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Work across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs.
Qualifications and Certifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- No related work experience or supervisory experience is required.
- CPR certification is required.
- First Aid certification is required.
- Fitness equipment certification is required.
- Certifications or training required by local and state agencies are required.
