Role Overview
Prepare food as part of a culinary team and contribute to guest dining experiences.
Work with seasonal menus and distinctive presentations while developing culinary skills.
Tasks to Complete
- Prepare fresh ingredients and cook them according to recipes or menus.
- Cook high-quality dishes within prescribed time limits and test food for preparation and temperature.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of food-preparation surfaces and storage containers.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and attention to detail.
- Maintain a positive mindset and outgoing personality.
- Previous kitchen experience is an important advantage.
Physical and Training Requirements
- Lift and move items weighing up to 25 lb (11 kg).
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and maintain a neat professional appearance in a clean uniform.
- Complete required training and obtain a safety certificate before starting the position.
Recommended Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is listed as recommended.
- At least one year of related work experience is listed as recommended.
- No supervisory experience or other permit or certification is listed as required in the recommended qualifications.
