The PMO Operations Engineer is responsible for supporting project management operations, coordinating between internal teams and clients, and ensuring smooth execution of operational and technical activities.
The role combines project coordination, client communication, reporting, and technical understanding to support successful project delivery and operational performance.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a good technical background in network infrastructure and IT systems.
Pmo & Project Coordination
- Support the PMO team in planning, tracking, and monitoring ongoing projects and operational activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Maintain project documentation, schedules, action trackers, and status reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly operational and project progress reports.
- Follow up on pending tasks, risks, and action items to ensure project timelines are maintained.
- Assist in implementing PMO processes, standards, and reporting structures.
Operations Management
- Monitor operational activities and ensure service delivery aligns with company standards and SLAs.
- Coordinate operational incidents, escalations, and corrective actions.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in resource planning and operational scheduling.
- Track KPIs and operational performance metrics.
Client Communication
- Communicate professionally with clients through emails, meetings, and calls.
- Provide timely updates regarding project and operational activities.
- Prepare professional responses to client inquiries, complaints, and technical concerns.
- Support client meetings by preparing reports, presentations, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders and clients.
Technical Support & Coordination
- Coordinate with technical teams regarding network infrastructure, system issues, and operational requirements.
- Support troubleshooting coordination and incident follow-up.
- Review technical reports and ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions.
- Maintain awareness of network systems, infrastructure operations, and technical project requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in PMO, operations coordination, project support, or technical operations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals and IT infrastructure.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in client-facing operational roles.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and PMO environments.
- Knowledge of SLA management and operational reporting.
- Certifications such as CCNA, PMP, ITIL, or Prince2 are considered an advantage.
