About the Role
- As a CBRE PM Engineering Ops Manager, you will manage the team responsible for providing technical and operational support to the property team and complex.
- This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.
What You’ll Do
- Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
- Oversee the management of large scale projects within both the operating budget and capital investment plan. This includes the fiscal management of the funding and proactively developing a 10 year business plan for all departmental equipment.
- Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and key stakeholders to ensure that business needs are being met.
- Review data and make recommendations for improvements to processes, procedures, and systems.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and apply knowledge to drive innovation and growth.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring that all expenditures are justified and aligned with company goals.
- Ensure the team follows compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
- Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED with 3 4 years of job related experience.
- A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
Compensation
- The minimum salary for the PM Engineering Ops Manager position is CAD 120,000 annually [or CAD 57.69 per hour] and the maximum salary is CAD 136,000 annually [or CAD 65.38 per hour].
- Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
