Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Planning Engineer for Construction role based in the United Arab Emirates.
The role develops and maintains project schedules aligned with contract requirements, resource availability, and construction sequences.
The role supports progress monitoring, project control, production planning, corrective actions, and resource optimization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Prepare detailed work programs.
- Monitor progress, update plans, and report variances to project management.
- Coordinate with project teams to gather data and analyze performance.
- Recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Contribute to production planning and project control activities.
- Optimize timelines and resource usage to achieve project milestones.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant work experience.
- Strong planning and production planning skills for construction projects.
- Solid analytical skills and experience in project control and progress monitoring.
- Effective communication skills for coordination with project managers, site teams, and consultants.
- Relevant qualification such as a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency with project planning software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project and MS Office tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract conditions, and health and safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driving license.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in structural, refurbishment, or government-sector construction projects in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.

- The position is full-time and on-site in the United Arab Emirates.
