Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role in the UAE focused on construction projects.
The role covers mechanical system design, review, coordination, installation support, testing, commissioning, and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and review mechanical systems for buildings and infrastructure in line with codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Prepare and check CAD drawings and coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and site teams.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related mechanical equipment.
- Participate in project planning, monitor progress, resolve site technical issues, and prepare technical documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and R&D involving construction materials, methods, and mechanical solutions.
- Maintain safety and quality standards across the project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in building and construction projects.
- Proficiency in CAD tools for 2D and 3D modeling, detailing, and mechanical drawing review.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Project management, multidisciplinary coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Currently based in the UAE, able to speak Arabic, available for immediate joining, and holding a valid driving license.
Additional Skills
- Experience or interest in R&D related to innovative construction materials, methods, and mechanical solutions.
- Professional certifications or licenses are an advantage.
